If your a coffee Shop or Bar owner you probably notice small flies hanging around the Coffee machine or bar taps and Dishwashers, if so it's probably fruit flys.

Fruit flys are attracted to warm heated moist areas and rotten organic materials and like to nest in wet areas such as sinks open floor drains and if your Dish washer or coffee machines over flow pipe is going into another open pipe this where fruit flies are likely to be nesting.

But here are tips to reduce or stop fruit flies nest in your premises

• keep floor drain clean of any debris

• seal around overflow pipes going into drain pipe

• put away mop heads and damp cloths in sealed container after finishing

• clean and dry all drips trays

•clean up all sticky spillages and coffee ground.
